Hello world of Akhal Teke lovers!

I have finally found acceptable blogging software to get me through with my freedom of speech on the subject of Akhal Teke horses. Thanks to Kerri-Jo I found this platform user friendly and flexible.

We have some news with our Akhal Tekes. I met with wonderful circus trainer who has been working with horses on upper level and has met some Akhal Tekes in some parts of the world performing in circus. I am keeping my fingers crossed as I hope to porgress steadily from here.

Yesterday I was able to ride a few upper level passages on my instructor`s Haute Ecole stallion. It was an amazing feeling how that big black Fressian boy can compact his frame and do Piaf. It was a treat for me. We also practised on deep seat and balance.

Searching for a new saddle for Ms. Tiki as we grew up enough (out of our baby staff) to buy an deep seated dressage saddle. So far looking at Kieffer`s as it is very comfortable to ride in.

Baby Nikki is almost 1.5 year and I can`t belive how fast the time has passed. Moira and Dolomite are in their mating modes and Riki, Tiki and me in riding. Kate flew in from another city to spend a day with us coaching us, kids, to stretch and go on the bid. Not to bunch up. I feel good about my riding this year because I am finally approaching the part where I can do more with my two young horses. Tiki (Paikhas) is turning 5 this year and Riki is 7. Though both are complete opposite in temper – I love them both. Tiki is a mellow and needs to be pushed forward and Riki is a power house I have to bring back. I laugh as between two of them I would of had a perfect horse.

My neighbour and freind Debbie got a new horse Irish – beautiful saddle bred and throughbred cross. We hope to train through this summer and show some results in upcoming fall.
